Among the families of six HPG guerrillas who lost their live in the operation carried out in Çukurca district of Hakkari after the guerrilla attacks targeting many military posts in the area, five of the families couldn’t identify the burnt bodies of their children who were allegedly killed with chemical weapons used by the Turkish army during the operation.

While families will return to their hometowns after giving blood samples for DNA test, the body of identified Minnan Ismail Akkas (Dogan Afrin) will be delivered to his family 15 days later.

On the other hand, besides a group from Sirnak, a delegation of DTK (Democratic Society Congress) and BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) executives and guerrilla families from Hakkari went to Kazan Valley (Geliyê Tiyarê) this morning to survey the area and allegations of chemical weapons use and to find the parts of the bodies of HGP guerrillas whose bodies are still missing and thought to be in the clash area.
