Journalist Ferda Çetin wrote in Yeni Özgür Politika daily about an important document which sheds some light on the Turkish government's role in the killings of three Kurdish politicians in Paris, Sakine Cansız, a co-founder of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Fidan Doğan, representative of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) in Paris and Leyla Şaylemez, member of the Kurdish youth movement.

After peace was once again installed in Serê Kaniyê city by an agreement between YPG and the armed groups who had attacked the city two months earlier, a deal was struck to form a local council representing all the cites inhabitants.
