Leyla Zana writes to Obama and Ban Ki-Moon

MESOP 28.8.2011: Diyarbakir deputy Leyla Zana has sent a letter to the U.S. President Barack Obama, NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, President of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, President of the Council of Europe, Herman Van Rompuy and Turkish President Abdullah Gül regarding the most recent policy implemented against the Kurdish people.

Since its foundation the Islamic Republic of Iran has been violating its national and international obligations. Despite of being the member of some of the key international human rights conventions, the Iranian Islamic regime has been continuously breaching its duties without being held accountable by the international community and institutions.

PJAK’s leader sent letters to German Authorities

BURSSELS, — The General Secretary of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) wrote letters to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on 28th July.

In the letter Haji Ahmadi condemns the Iranian invasion of South Kurdistan. He also denounces the demand of the Iranian authorities for his extradition to Iran. He says he is ready to be tried in an International Court along with the Iranian authorities.
