The Kurdish Republic of Mahabad – A Song
The Republic of Mahabad (Komarî Mehabad), officially known as Republic of Kurdistan and established in Eastern Kurdistan (Persian occupied Kurdistan), is a short-lived, Kurdish state of the 20th century after the Republic of Ararat in Turkey. The capital is the city of Mahabad in the northwest of present Iran.
