Kurdistan National Congress:ROAD MAP OF ABDULLAH OCALAN FOR PEACE

Abdullah Öcalan, imprisoned leader of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party), has composed a 160 pages
"road map" of what he believes will lead to a solution of the Kurdish question. In this week's meeting with his
lawyers Öcalan reported that he submitted his road map to the Imralı Prison management, together with
another 600 pages on "Democratization of Middle East Culture."

Pro-Kurdish DTP says ‘yes’ to ‘an honorable peace’

The mass rally of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP) on Tuesday in Diyarbakır was full of appeals for peace, but in the background was the underlying relationship between the DTP and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) which is listed as a terrorist organization by the US, the EU and Turkey.

"Some of the more well-known figures who served time in the prison include Democratic Society Party (DTP) leader Ahmet Türk and former DTP deputies Nurettin Yilmaz, Celal Paydas, Mustafa Cakmak and former mayor Mehdi Zana as well as Kurdish writer and intellectual Orhan Miroglu and poet Yilmaz Odabasi. The father of Kurdish writer Altan Tan, Bedii Tan, lost his life in this prison as a result of torture…"

PDKI Press Release on the loss of four Peshmargas

The Political-Military Commission of Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (PDKI), with immense grief and sadness, would like to inform the public that a team of our comrades named Hussein Mohammedi, Yousef Feghehi, Azad Barayie and Seifola Dunyayie gave their lives following a two day clash with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) outside the city of Saghez in Iranian Kurdistan on Friday the 21st of August.
