A Belgian well-known lawyers association – which includes lawyers such as Walter Van Steenbrugge, Johan Vande Lanotte and Johan Heymans – goes a step further than the appeal from other international organizations, and launches an appeal to the United Nations to investigate the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish regime on the territory of Iraq. This is due to the lack of initiative on the part of the “Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons” (OPCW).
Johan Vande Lanotte testifies to the media platform “Middle East Diplomatic” that he bases this appeal on very serious indications in a recent report from the “International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War” (IPPNW).
